The halogen lamp, with it’s convenient size, simple installation and good light output is one of the most popular lamps in the world. Over 100 million are sold every year.

However a halogen lamp is a very inefficient light source: a 50W halogen actually uses upto 75W of power, due to the transformer. It also has a very short lift, resulting in regular expensive maintenance and replacement lamp expenditure.

In the LED Lamps we use, patented technology ensures exception long life through an ingenious heat management system. Ground breaking optics produce a perfect 34 degree beam with virtually no loss of light output.

The LED Downlighter we use at Blu Sparx Electrical Contractor is 90% more efficient than a halogen option, and lasts 30 times longer, saving money & maintenance. Whilst dramatically reducing carbon emissions, landfill waste and hazardous materials entering the ecosystem.

Complying with Part B, C, E, L & P of building regulations, Fire-rated for 90 minutes, IP65 as standard and only 7.9W of power consumption makes for a very big saving.
