Blu Sparx Electrical Contractor supply a variety of systems to automatically ensure roads and pathways remain clear of snow, ice and frost.

All of our systems can be controlled by intelligent thermostats that measure both temperature and moisture levels to ensure the heating systems are only turned on when conditions require.

The thermostats operate either a cable or heating
mat system located beneath the asphalt, concrete or paving, and the systems normally operate at 270W per square meter to ensure a speedy warmup time and efficient clearance of the snow and ice. As the surface temperature only needs to be increased marginally above freezing to ensure that the ice or snow will melt and flow away the systems do not normally need to be energised for a significant amount of time.
