Electrical Condition Reports... Periodic Inspection Report

Periodic inspection and testing reports (sometimes know as landlord certificates or Electric Insurance Reports) provide an in depth report on the electrical installation. All types of properties should have them carried out from time to time to ensure that there are no dangerous faults that could cause a fire or endanger life.

Many people think that because their "electrics work", that they are safe; this is often not the case as many faults can remain hidden for many years (if you are lucky).

At Blu Sparx Electrical Contractor, our Periodic Inspection Report will assess the condition of your complete Electrical Installation, testing ALL circuits and accessories.

From the Periodic Inspection Report we will be able to reveal if the electrical circuits are being overloaded, find any hazards that may be present, identify any defective DIY work along with testing for earthing & equipotential bonding and ensuring RCD's operate correctly under fault conditions

The outcome from the Periodic Inspection Report will establish the overall condition of all the electrics and tell you whether it is satisfactory for continued use and will detail any work that might need to be undertaken to rectify. This will be graded upon importance.

As a minimum testing should be carried out as shown on our Recommended Electrical Testing Frequency, however often we will recommend shorter intervals depending on the age of the installation.
